Hi there! My name is Riia. My home base and origins are in Finland, but the current address in The Netherlands. This page provides a bit more information about me.
An introduction to my educational background: I have a Vocational Qualification in Business Administration (Major in Marketing). During the studies, I had two internships, first one for Sportia and the second for Stadium. Besides that, I participated as a volunteer (Media Services) to Ice Hockey World Championship games in 2011 – 2012 in Finland.
2014: I started a Bachelor studies in South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences. In a programme of Multilingual Business Management. The first year was “the basic studies” in business administration and an internship; which I did in Germany, Munich. I worked there as an Assistant for a company called Radius Tours & Bikes. My major is Communication and I have studied minors in cultural & linguistics studies such as in Journalism (The Hague University).
2015-2016: I did an exchange year in The Netherlands (The Hague University of Applied Sciences) where I had minor in Journalism and courses such as International marketing, Event organising… After the exchange, I started a second internship for Hotelschool The Hague as a Strategic Marketing & Communication Intern.
2017: In January I finished my internship for Hotelschool The Hague and a thesis that I did in cooperation with the Strategic Marketing and Communication department. The end result of my thesis can be found here! During the spring I will be working as a freelancer for some various small-scale companies.
I will be graduating in June 2017 and therefore be looking a job from my field from July onwards from Helsinki, Finland.

These photos are hand-picked as the berries on right and they are supposed to show what I love. First represents Finland, sports (especially ice hockey) and winter – the second goes for traveling, nature and everything else related to those. The third is about food and lifestyle. Under the berries you can see traditional “Vihta” which could I suppose represent Sauna culture since it is used in Sauna. And of course, I love it!
